TNA Wrestling may begin taping their weekly series, IMPACT, live from late 2024.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that TNA were making plans to hold live tapings of IMPACT in the final portion of Scott D'Amore's tenure as TNA President. D'Amore was fired by Anthem in February 2024. The plan was for TNA to hold live tapings at a set location and one of the venues the promotion looked into was Full Sail University. The Winter Park, Florida location previously hosted WWE NXT from 2012 until 2020.

"One of the things that they've been looking at, and it's not gonna happen any time soon, but they wanna go live. The idea is to go live and have a location where they would go every Thursday. Full Sail University is one of the places they've talked about... Scott D'Amore before he was ousted and Lou D'Angeli and Ed Nordholm went to Full Sail and scouted it out and that's where they wanted to go," Meltzer said.

The plan when Scott D'Amore was TNA President was for the promotion to tape a couple of shows live in late 2024 as test runs before going live full-time in 2025.

If those plans are still in place is unknown following the hiring of Anthony Cicione as D'Amore's replacement. One of the reasons for D'Amore's departure was reportedly Anthem's unwillingness to fund TNA's expansion. D'Amore tried to buy TNA for $10 million but Anthem rejected the offer.
