The first match has been made official for TNA Sacrifice 2026, with men’s World Champion Mike Santana set to defend the gold.
As seen on the March 5 edition of TNA IMPACT, ‘The SUIT’ Daria Rae reinstated former TNA World Champion Steve Maclin, despite Maclin receiving his marching orders in early 2026 after receiving the pink slip during the infamous Feast or Fired match.
Maclin made his return to TNA in late February, attacking announcer Tom Hannifan and crossing paths with Santana, with Maclin’s reinstatement drawing the ire of Hannifan on commentary. For Santana, Sacrifice is set to be his second defence of the title. After winning the belt for a second time on January 15 with victory over Frankie Kazarian on IMPACT’s AMC debut, Santana won the rematch at Genesis.
This will mark the first TNA World Championship contest at Sacrifice since the 2024 edition, in which then champion Moose successfully retained the gold against Eric Young.
TNA Sacrifice is set for the Alario Center in Westwego, Louisiana on March 27.
