TNA Wrestling Re-Signs Top Tag Team

TNA Wrestling retain a top tag team

A top tag team are sticking around in TNA Wrestling.

Only a few weeks before the promotion officially becomes TNA Wrestling once again on January 13, IMPACT Wrestling have announced that Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz have re-signed with the company. There is no word on the terms of The Rascalz's new deals, only that they have put pen to paper on new deals with TNA/IMPACT.

Beyond a couple of months between November 2020 and January 2021, Trey Miguel has been a featured performer in IMPACT Wrestling since he debuted for the promotion in November 2018. He is a two-time X-Division Champion.

Zachary Wentz initially joined IMPACT Wrestling with Trey and Dezmond Xavier (AKA Wes Lee) in 2018 to create The Rascalz and he remained with the promotion until November 2020 when he and Wes Lee left to form MSK in WWE. Wentz was fired by WWE in April 2022, however, and later returned to IMPACT in June 2023, reforming The Rascalz in the process.

The Rascalz went on to win the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships in August, holding the belts for 55 days until a loss to ABC (Chris Bey and Ace Austin) at October's Bound For Glory pay-per-view.

Outside of Wentz and Miguel, Myron Reed is also a part of The Rascalz, primarily on the independent wrestling scene.

TNA/IMPACT have been on somewhat of a signing spree in recent weeks. Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers have also re-signed with TNA Wrestling and the likes of Trent Seven and KUSHIDA have signed with the promotion.

One of the 'biggest signings in company history' will reportedly debut at TNA Hard To Kill on January 13 too.
