TNT Title Bout, 2 Other Matches Added To 1/25 AEW Dynamite
Including a women's triple threat
During Friday night's episode of AEW Rampage, three matches were made official for this Wednesday's episode of Dynamite.
For the TNT title, champion Darby Allin will defend his belt against House of Black member Buddy Matthews. Allin feuded with the group previously, and personally issued the challenge to Matthews during a promo package Friday.
A three-way women's bout has also been announced, between Dr. Britt Baker, Ruby Soho, and Toni Storm. Storm (along with Saraya) turned heel on Wednesday by attacking Willow Nightingale, with Soho making the save.
Also added is a tag team bout, pitting Jungle Boy and Hook against Ethan Page and Matt Hardy. Jungle Boy defeated Page on Friday's card following both a failed attempt by Page to use an unwitting Hardy as leverage, and an entrance distraction from Hook. An irate Page issued the challenge for Wednesday.
The current card for Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, taking place at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY, includes the following:
* AEW TNT: Darby Allin (c) vs. Buddy Matthews
* Ricky Starks and Action Andretti vs. Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara
* Bryan Danielson vs. Brian Cage
* Dr. Britt Baker vs. Toni Storm vs. Ruby Soho
* Jungle Boy and Hook vs. Ethan Page and Matt Hardy
* A "family therapy" session with The Acclaimed and Gunn Club
