TNT Title Stolen In Car Break-In

The TNT Championship has been stolen from Wardlow's car

The TNT Title has been stolen.

Wardlow revealed in a Twitter video today that his rental car had been broken into and the TNT Title and his in-ring gear, among other items, had been stolen. The TNT Champion noted he is unsure what he is going to wear for his title match against Powerhouse Hobbs on Dynamite tonight but he will find a way to get to Sacramento.

"Thanks to the person who broke into my rental car and took absolutely everything from me. My TNT Title, my gear, my boots, my whole life were in those bags. I don't know if this means I'm going to have to beat the sh*t out of Hobbs in these clothes I'm wearing right now but one way or another I'm going to make it to Sacramento and get this sh*t done. Whoever did do this better thank God that I didn't catch you in the act because your jaw would be as shattered as this glass is," Wardlow said.

Wardlow is currently in his second reign as TNT Champion, having regained the belt from Samoa Joe at the Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, March 5.

This isn't the first time an AEW championship has been stolen. The AEW World Title was stolen back in September 2019 while Chris Jericho was dining at a LongHorn Steakhouse in Tallahassee, Florida. The belt was recovered a few days later after it was discovered at the side of the road.
