Toni Storm Makes NJPW Debut At Resurgence

Toni Storm helps Juice Robinson win at NJPW Resurgence

While Toni Storm did wrestle at last year's AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, she made her first appearance at an NJPW-only event on Sunday, May 21 as she helped her husband Juice Robinson defeat Fred Rosser in a Street Fight at Resurgence.

Rosser was about to deck Robinson with a fistful of chain during their match but the crowd suddenly roared as Toni Storm rolled into the ring and decked Rosser from behind with a Low Blow. The former NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion was unmoved, however, and he revealed he was wearing a cup before he grabbed Storm and forcefully kissed her without consent. Storm then tried to slap Rosser but he picked her up and looked set to connect with a Death Valley Driver before Robinson caught him from behind with a Low Blow.

The move left Rosser down and out and while he kicked out of a Storm Zero from The Outcasts member, the former Darren Young was soon pinned by Robinson to end the match.

Robinson and Rosser have been feuding since February's Battle in the Valley pay-per-view that saw Juice cost the former Darren Young the NJPW STRONG Openweight Title after he decked him with a sock full of coins. Robinson then attacked Rosser before their scheduled match at Capital Collision and he cost the NJPW STRONG star later in the night in his match with Lance Archer which led to a storyline suspension for Juice.

Since then, Rosser has cut multiple promos on Toni Storm, which led to her appearance at Resurgence.
