The year is 2025 and 71-year-old Tony Atlas is still making towns on the independent wrestling circuit, mostly for benefit shows which help schools, fire and police departments.
The WWE Hall of Famer has wrestled a handful of matches already this year, the most recent of which took place on a Limitless Wrestling show this past Saturday (August 9).
Ahead of that event, 'Mr. USA' spoke to the Portland Press Herald, where he discussed how long he intends to keep wrestling for.
"Until I die. I work out every day. I go to the (YMCA). I'm there just about every morning. It built my life. I don't know how to do anything else. The only other thing other than wrestling I know how to do is personal training and draw," the former WWE Tag Team Champion said.
Though he was a major star during the 1970s and 80s, these days Atlas is better known for some of his outside-the-ring exploits. Namely, a shoe fetish which he claims is non-sexual and 'humbles' him.
Atlas currently works as a personal trainer at the YMCA in Lewiston-Auburn, Maine.
