Tony Khan Accused Of Only Listening To Top AEW Guys

All Elite Wrestling CEO Tony Khan has been accused of only listening to "top guys" within the promotion.

Addressing QT Marshall's impending AEW departure, Konnan said on K100: "I know for a fact this had been building up. He [QT Marshall] gets paid very well, but he was very frustrated because he does a lot of stuff, and Tony [Khan is] the type of guy who changes his mind last minute... He only listens to top guys, which some of them don't have the best interests of the company at heart."

Who exactly these top guys are is unknown but one previous example is Tony Khan was infatuated with CM Punk when the Second City Saviour was a part of AEW to the point Punk was seemingly granted almost everything he asked for, including the banning of several talents from AEW Collision. One of those talents was QT Marshall. 

QT Marshall will leave AEW at the end of the year after handing in his resignation. The former AAA Latin American Champion was previously Tony Khan's right-hand man but he saw his influence dwindle after Cody Rhodes' AEW departure in February 2022. Marshall also reportedly desires to be featured more as a wrestler.

There is an internal push within WWE to bring Marshall in and QT would reportedly be interested in joining the company.
