Tony Khan Announces AEW Fight For The Fallen & Fyter Fest

Fight for the Fallen & Fyter Fest to take place this month

AEW Fight for the Fallen and Fyter Fest have been yearly events (sometimes multi-night ones across Dynamite & Rampage) ever since the company’s first year of existence. Back in 2019, the two shows were some of AEW’s first ever PPV events too.

Tony Khan has recently announced the return of the two events for 2023. In terms of Fight for the Fallen, the decision to host these special editions of weekly TV was a last minute one, as Khan revealed the change in schedule in a tweet.

“Based on the horrific fires in Maui, I've changed AEW's upcoming schedule to provide assistance,” Khan wrote on X. “Next week on Wed/Fri/Sat, it's AEW Fight For The Fallen 2023 on #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage #AEWCollision. Proceeds from AEW on 8/16 Nashville + 8/19 Lexington will go to @MauiFoodBank.”

Additionally, in the lead up to All In it has been announced that AEW will host a week-long Fyter Fest covering all of their weekly shows.

“In conjunction with Fight For The Fallen moving to next week @AEWonTV on @TBSNetwork/@TNTdrama to support @MauiFoodBank, AEW Fyter Fest 2023 Presented by #AEWFightForever will now take place during one of our most important tv weeks ever, week after next, go home week for All In!”
