Tony Khan Announces ROH Death Before Dishonor For July

The next ROH event

During the post-show media scrum after AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door, Tony Khan confirmed that Death Before Dishonor, Ring of Honor's next pay-per-view, will take place on Saturday, July 23.

Death Before Dishonor will take place in Lowell, MA, though no venue has been named. The event will air on Bleacher Report in the United States.

This will be the second ROH pay-per-view since Tony Khan bought the organization earlier this year. The first was Supercard of Honor, which was held on April 1 in Garland, TX. In the main event of that show, Jonathan Gresham defeated Bandido to become Undisputed ROH World champion.

The July event will be the 19th different incarnation of Death Before Dishonor, an event that has been held every year since 2003 (except for 2020, due to the pandemic).

The 2021 card took place last September in Philadelphia at the 2300 Arena (ECW Arena). On that card, Rok-C (NXT's Roxanne Perez) defeated Miranda Alize to become the inaugural ROH Women's champion, while Bandido retained the ROH World title over Brody King, Demonic Flamita, and EC3.
