Tony Khan Clarifies Stylisation Of AEW's HOOK

HOOK, remember that

All Elite Wrestling's newest star isn't Hook, Coat Hook or Fish Hook. It certainly isn't Captain Hook. It's HOOK, Tony Khan has clarified.

Responding to a tweet from AEW hyping up HOOK's second match which referred to the 22-year-old as Hook, Khan replied: "It's HOOK, Jeff. Either @730hook or HOOK."

That's settled, the Team Taz member is HOOK and definitely not Walter Farquhar Hook, the Vicar of Leeds during the mid-19th century.

With the new stylisation, HOOK joins the likes of JONAH, SANADA and EVIL in having their in-ring names in all capitals.

Following his AEW debut in December 2020, HOOK quickly established himself as one of All Elite Wrestling's most popular talents, appearing at ringside for other Team Taz members' matches, particularly Powerhouse Hobbs.

HOOK made his AEW in-ring debut on the December 10, 2021, edition of Rampage, defeating Fuego Del Sol with the Tazmission, now known as the Redrum. His second match against Bear Bronson was taped last night and will air on the special 'Holiday Bash' edition of Rampage on Christmas Day this Saturday.
