Tony Khan Declines To Comment On CM Punk's Interview, Would Rather Focus On ROH Supercard Of Honor

Tony Khan focused on ROH Supercard of Honor 2024 not CM Punk’s recent comments

CM Punk recently aired his thoughts on his time in All Elite Wrestling, his thoughts of Tony Khan as a boss, and the All In backstage fight with Jack Perry, with Punk’s comments - unsurprisingly - dividing fan opinion online.

Several notable AEW stars took to social media to back Khan - whom Punk called ‘a nice guy but not a boss’ - with Adam Copeland even opening AEW Dynamite on April 3 with a ‘rah-rah speech’ putting over the company. Khan himself was asked for his thoughts on Punk’s comments during the ROH Supercard of Honor XVII pre-show media call, with Khan saying the following:

“I’d prefer not to talk about that. I’d really rather focus on the card and Supercard of Honor, but thanks for asking. I do appreciate you asking, and there’s plenty of interesting things we can talk about here,” said Khan.

Khan has repeatedly remained tight-lipped on all matters Punk since firing the former AEW World Champion in September 2023 due to his conduct at All In. Khan did announce Punk’s firing on TV, revealing he ‘felt his life was in danger’ at Wembley Stadium.
