Tony Khan has reiterated that he has never spoken the former Bray Wyatt about joining All Elite Wrestling.

Windham Rotunda, known as Wyatt during his time in WWE, was surprisingly released by the promotion in late July. The former WWE Universal Champion's 90-day non-compete clause expired at the end of October.

While plans for Rotunda to break into Hollywood have been revealed, with the former Wyatt working on a movie, his future in wrestling is less certain.

AEW President Khan has previously admitted his fondness for Rotunda but said he hasn't spoken to him about joining AEW, something he has now doubled down on.

Speaking during the AEW Full Gear 2021 media call, Khan said: "I like Windham a lot. We’ll see what happens, you know,

"I haven’t talked to him about it ever, about him coming to AEW. The last time I saw Windham was at Chris Jericho’s birthday party and it was a pretty late night, and it was last year. So, it’s a very different world. I only briefly saw him in passing — I was heading out while he was heading in. It was a pretty late night, but I think he’s a wonderful person and a really great talent."
