Tony Khan: I Think Everyone Knows What To Expect At AEW Rampage: The First Dance

Tony Khan has suggested that All Elite Wrestling fans know 'what to expect' when AEW: The First Dance is presented from Chicago on Friday 20 August, with CM Punk being rumoured to appear on the show.

AEW's second-ever episode of Rampage will be presented live from Chicago, Illinois next Friday and reports have heavily speculated over the last month that the show will feature the AEW debut of former WWE Champion CM Punk.

Punk hasn't appeared officially for any major wrestling promotion since leaving WWE in 2014 and, amid teases of the 42-year-old joining Khan's company, a host of AEW talent have made subtle references to him on recent episodes of AEW Dynamite.

Khan has now gone a step further in building anticipation for next week's show, indicating fans already know what's on the cards for The First Dance.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Khan said: "It’s going to be a huge card, and tonight [Wednesday's AEW Dynamite] we’ll establish more of what’s coming on the premiere of Rampage.

"Of course, I think everyone knows what to expect on the second episode of Rampage, which is titled ‘The First Dance.’ And I expect the anticipation will continue to build."
