Tony Khan Issues "No Comment" On AEW's Reported Signings Of Daniel Bryan & CM Punk

Not giving anything away

Tony Khan has declined to comment on the reported signings of Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) and CM Punk.

The AEW President was asked about the signings by Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post ahead of the July 28 edition of Dynamite, but Khan only said: "I have no comment on those, but those are good questions but I can't comment on those."

After Staszewski pressed further and asked about what it would mean for AEW to sign both Punk and Bryan, Khan again stated: "I can't comment on those two guys, but I think there are certainly a lot of exciting rumours right now."

Reports in recent weeks have noted AEW has "100% already signed" Bryan Danielson and tentative plans are in place for him to debut at Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 22. Those plans may have changed, though, due to CM Punk's possible debut.

There has been no confirmation of if The Voice Of The Voiceless has put pen to paper with Tony Khan's promotion, but he will reportedly be at one of AEW's upcoming Chicago shows.
