Tony Khan: My New Year's Resolution Is To Continue AEW's Expansion

Continue growing

2021 has been a year of growth for All Elite Wrestling. From adding big stars in CM Punk and Bryan Danielson to the roster to pay-per-view buys to debuting two new shows in Dark: Elevation and Rampage, the promotion has continued to expand throughout the year.

AEW debuting more content looks set to continue in 2022 with 'Battle Of The Belts' specials on TNT and Tony Khan revealed to Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports his New Year's resolution is to continue his company's expansion.

"To continue expanding. We've got the Battle of the Belts, and the Owen Hart Cup, and so much more to come in 2022. We've developed the roster so much in the past year, more than I honestly had ever dreamed we could going into the year. So I look forward to what's ahead in 2022. What a year it was," Khan said.

"Our four pay-per-views this year happened to be the four biggest pay-per-views we've ever done. Our top four box office shows of all time. The last two are the top two. We've ended up in an amazing place and it's very exciting going into 2022."

AEW will begin the year with Dynamite's debut on TBS on January 5 before the first 'Battle Of The Belts' special on Saturday, January 8.
