Tony Khan On Interest In ROH Talent, Tape Library: "We'll See What Happens"

ROH is entering into a hiatus soon

With Ring of Honor in a state of flux due to an impending hiatus, and the contractual release of all talents at the end of 2021, there have been many questions about the organization, particularly when it comes to both free agents and the potential future of the tape library.

On an AEW media scrum on Thursday, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp questioned Tony Khan about any possible interest in the ROH tape library. Said library features lots of notable matches and moments from a host of talents currently on board with AEW, including CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, members of The Elite, and so many more.

“Well, there's a lot of great stuff there. They've had a lot of great matches and shows in their library and they have some very good talent," Khan said. "I can't say with any certainty, but we'll see what happens on the business side and as far as the talent goes, I would say stay tuned to AEW. There's Dynamite every Wednesday, Rampage tomorrow, Full Gear on Saturday. You never know who is going to show up in AEW.

"As for the business side of it, I'm good friends with a lot of people in the company of Ring of Honor and the agent that represents them is my neighbor in LA. He lives down the block and is a friend of mine. I am very familiar with what is going on there but I can't say with any degree of certainty what will happen on the business side.”
