Tony Khan Open To Speaking With WWE About A Joint Show

Could a show ever take place between AEW and WWE?

Tony Khan has expressed his willingness to hold talks with WWE about a potential joint event between Vince McMahon's company and All Elite Wrestling.

Khan said on The Ringer's Masked Man Show: "I'm not sure if that's gonna happen [AEW and WWE doing a joint show]. But, I would be open to talking about that type of thing. It's not crazy but it's a bold prediction."

WWE have largely continued to remain aloof from the rest of professional wrestling since AEW was formed in January 2019 although they have collaborated with AEW and IMPACT Wrestling in a small capacity. Mickie James was billed as the IMPACT Knockouts World Champion for her appearance in the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble and footage of her appearance aired on IMPACT TV. AJ Styles also appeared via video at the recent Slammiversary pay-per-view to celebrate IMPACT's 20th anniversary.

Furthermore, AEW talents Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, and Paul Wight sent in video messages for Monday Night Raw last week as part of John Cena's 20-year anniversary.

AEW have collaborated with several promotions in recent years and they recently held the joint Forbidden Door pay-per-view with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
