Tony Khan Provides Brief Update On Jon Moxley

Tony Khan has provided a brief update on Jon Moxley, revealing that the former AEW World Champion is 'doing better and better'.

Khan announced at the start of November that Moxley had entered himself into an inpatient alcohol treatment program. The former Dean Ambrose has not been seen on AEW television since the decision as he continues to focus on getting better.

A recent image shared on social media by a fan posing with the 36-year-old appeared to show Moxley looking well, and AEW President Khan has said Renee Paquette tells him her husband is on the path to recovery.

Speaking on Rasslin’ with Brandon F. Walker, Khan said: "From talking to Renee, he’s doing better and better, which is awesome. And [I’m] so excited about that."

Moxley had been scheduled to compete with Bryan Danielson at AEW Full Gear last month in the final of the World Championship Eliminator Tournament. With Moxley ruled out, he was replaced by former TNT Champion Miro, with Danielson eventually winning the competition.
