Tony Khan Provides Update On Kamille's AEW Status

Kamille’s All Elite Wrestling absence has been notable, especially after she refused to comment on her status in the organisation.

After debuting as Mercedes Moné’s bodyguard in July, by November Kamille was written off TV. It seems though Kamille could still have a future in AEW, with AEW CEO Tony Khan saying the following when asked about the former NWA Women’s World Champion’s status:

“We don’t know who attacked Kamille,” Khan said during a recent appearance on the Battleground Podcast. “The last time we saw her, she was attacked. We know she had a breakup with Mercedes Moné in their business relationship. Mercedes is flourishing since then. She’s done really well on her own. Kamille, we haven’t seen her since she was attacked and we’re not sure what that was and what that was about… When Kamille does return to get payback for that attack, it will be interesting to see who she goes after and what that was.”

Kamille recently appeared in the Queen of the Ring movie, with Kamille refusing to comment on her AEW status whilst doing press for the film.
