Tony Khan Reiterates Interest In Buying WWE

Tony Khan wants to be involved in a WWE sale

Tony Khan remains interested in buying WWE.

WWE were put up for sale following Vince McMahon's return to the organisation in early January, with the Executive Chairman leading talks over any potential deal with interested parties.

Reports noted following McMahon's return that Tony and Shadid Khan were open to a merger with WWE and the AEW CEO has reiterated he is "very much" interested in being involved in a WWE sale process.

"I don't know exactly what will happen there. I've been told, and I think they've said publicly, that there may be a sale process. If there is a sale process, certainly I'm interested in it and potentially being involved in it. We'll have to see what that process is, and who exactly they'll let get involved in it. Certainly, I'm interested in it very much," Khan stated on the Mark Hoke Show

A WWE-AEW merger is considered unlikely, however, due to Vince McMahon's ego. WWE CEO Nick Khan expects a sale to be completed within three months. The likes of Disney, Endeavor, Netflix, Comcast, and the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund are said to be interested in a WWE purchase.
