Tony Khan Reveals Who He'd Put In Charge Of AEW Booking If He Was Hit By A Bus

Tony Khan has trust in a major AEW star

Bryan Danielson was handed perhaps the biggest compliment by his boss as AEW’s head booker and President Tony Khan revealed in an interview that the former multi-time world champion would be the man he turns to in an hour of need.

In a Q&A interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Khan revealed that he told his father to turn to Bryan Danielson if he was rendered unable to book a show or fulfil his duties in AEW, for whatever reason.

“He hasn’t been around as much lately, because he’s been recovering from an injury. But if I got hit by a bus, or if I was ever incapacitated for some reason, the person I told my father that he should turn to is Bryan Danielson.”

Danielson has been known to have a hand in creative in the likes of WWE prior to leaving the company, and with his years worth of experience and the reputation he has for being one of the best professional wrestlers of all time, it is of little doubt as to why Khan clearly has a lot of faith in him.
