Tony Khan Rules Out Wrestling In AEW

Tony Khan won't be wrestling in AEW

Don't expect to see Tony Khan throw on a singlet and start dishing out German Suplexes like he is prime Kurt Angle.

According to the man himself, Tony Khan won't be wrestling in All Elite Wrestling any time soon as he doesn't think anybody wants to see him wrestle.

"I don't think anybody really wants to see that. Not anytime soon. That's not anything I think we're going to do. I do think AEW has a great roster, the best wrestlers in the world. I would rather try to put the best matches and we have exciting rivalries building in AEW right now," Khan told Levack and Goz.

Tony Khan founded All Elite Wrestling with The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, and Kenny Omega in January 2019. He has sporadically made appearances on AEW TV but he is mostly presented as the off-screen authority figure, with his decrees being proclaimed by Tony Schiavone. Khan also remains the most influential figure in AEW behind the scenes as the promotion's CEO, president, and booker.

Khan has often drawn attention through his use of social media. The AEW President explained why he tweets so much during a recent interview.
