Tony Khan Takes Shot At Eric Bischoff Following Strictly Business Announcement

Tony Khan has a jibe at Eric Bischoff in latest tweet

Tony Khan has taken his latest shot at Eric Bischoff.

Bischoff remains involved in pro wrestling through his partnership with AdFreeShows.com which produces the 83 Weeks podcast. The former WCW Senior Vice President is also the co-host of the Strictly Business podcast, a series which focuses on the business of professional wrestling. The podcast is set to end, though, with co-host Jon Alba announcing that Bischoff will be putting his time into other endeavours following this week's episode.

Many stated they were sad to see Strictly Business go but not AEW President Tony Khan, who simply replied: "Sunsetting this fraud of a business podcast before the next AEW media deal is a wise choice."

Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff have had issues for years, with Bischoff critical of Khan on an almost weekly basis during his podcasts. They last jabbed on social media in January when Bischoff insinuated Tony Khan was a clown following his criticism of WWE and the USA Network over Jinder Mahal's World Heavyweight Title match. Khan responded, calling Bischoff a "miserable has-been" and a back-and-forth ensued which ended with Khan saying "Reading would be your friend, Eric" after Bischoff criticised Abadon being booked in a TBS Title match at Worlds End.

After one fan replied to Tony Khan's latest jibe at Bischoff saying they thought it was a fake Tony Khan account, the AEW CEO replied with a Sopranos GIF saying, "He didn't have the balls to do it himself."

AEW's current US media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is set to expire at the end of 2024.
