Tony Khan Takes Shot At WWE With Crown Jewel Comments

Tony Khan isn't sitting back and taking this f*cking sh*t. 

As relations between All Elite Wrestling and WWE appear to sour once again, AEW President Tony Khan took a shot at his competition and their shows in Saudi Arabia. 

Appearing on News 12, Khan spoke about AEW's shows in the North East of the United States, stating: "We're running a lot of great shows around the North East. It's so many great wrestling markets in one geographic region. I'll say it: (it's) the crown jewel of wrestling markets -- the real crown jewel of wrestling markets, not some BS overseas in Saudi Arabia. The real crown jewel -- New York City -- is where you want to be."

WWE have held shows in Saudi Arabia since 2018 and they will do so through 2027. The next event in the Middle East will take place on November 5 with Crown Jewel.

AEW's next major event in the North East will take place tonight when Grand Slam emanates from Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.
