Tony Khan To Make A 'Big Announcement' On Next Week's AEW Dynamite

Another Tony Khan ‘Big Announcement’ set for AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan has been in a noticeably buoyant mood regarding All Elite Wrestling’s future, with Khan recently noting that 2024 will be like 2021 - widely regarded as AEW’s early peak.

On the back of this, AEW have announced that Khan will be making one of his customary ‘big announcements’ on the February 7 edition of AEW Dynamite, with fan speculation already running rampant online.

Whilst Khan’s ‘big announcements’ run the gamut of genuine industry changing news, to overhyped bits of admin, they are a conversation point. Early chatter has speculated that Khan’s announcement could regard the signing of Kazuchika Okada or Mercedes Moné to AEW deals, with both being heavily rumoured to be joining the organisation in the coming months.

There has been no word as to what Khan’s forthcoming announcement will be, and it looks like we’ll just have to wait until February 7 to find out.

Past big announcements have included the purchase of Ring of Honor, the creation of the Forbidden Door event with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and the inaugural AEW All In event in Wembley Stadium in 2023.
