Tony Khan Wants Rick Ross To Do More With AEW
Could Rick Ross return to AEW? Tony Khan hopes so
All Elite Wrestling has fully embraced hip hop culture, with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Westside Gunn, and Kevin Gates having made their presence felt during AEW shows, but none made quite the splash that Rick Ross did.
‘Da Boss’ has made several appearances alongside Swerve Strickland, memorably talking about ‘accusations’ with ‘big motherf*****’ Keith Lee, and AEW President Tony Khan told Chad Hastings and Zay Collier on Midday that he wants to see more of Ross in AEW:
"Rick Ross is a tremendous talent. I'm very excited that Rick Ross has taken an interest in AEW. He's a great person. He's really been kind to me, personally, and he's been a great friend to AEW. We love when he comes to the show and gets involved. You never know when the biggest boss Rick Ross is going to show up in AEW. It could happen at any time. That's one of the great things about the show that we have going for us. That's one of the reasons why I love the show every week, people never know what to expect, and you never know who is going to show up. Rick Ross is one of our best cameos of all-time. I think he could do more than a cameo, I think he could certainly be involved more often. I would love for that to happen," said Khan.
