Tony Khan Wearing A Neck Brace Following AEW Dynamite Attack

Tony Khan selling his injuries following AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan will be selling his injuries this Saturday.

The AEW President has largely remained off AEW TV outside of major announcements but he was involved in the main event angle of the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. A show-long angle played out on Dynamite as The Elite looked to broker a meeting between Jack Perry and Tony Khan which ultimately led to Perry calling Khan to the ring in the final minutes of the episode.

The former Jungle Boy cut a babyface promo, saying all he has ever wanted is what is best for All Elite Wrestling. Perry then asked Khan to shake his hand and reinstate him from his suspension so they can go on and keep changing the world together. Moved by Perry's words, Khan shook his hand and the two men embraced.

Perry gave a cheeky grin to the camera, though, and after raising Khan's hand in celebration, he proceeded to punch the AEW CEO in the gut. The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada made their way to the ring and briefly berated Perry, only for Matthew and Nicholas Jackson to hoist up Khan and level him with the Tony Khan Driver.

With Khan laid out, the AEW roster came to his aid, as did Tony's father Shahid Khan, as Dynamite went off the air from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

"Thank you all for watching #AEWDynamite tonight! What a great show that was on @TBSNetwork, with a thrilling ending! Justified 'this is awesome' chants at the end! It was an exciting show on the road to #AEWDoubleOrNothing tonight on TBS, thank you all for watching!" The Young Bucks tweeted following the angle.

Khan sold the angle following Dynamite and he proceeded to continue to sell his injuries throughout the night, according to Fightful Select. The Parking Lot Fight between Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta planned for Saturday's edition of Rampage was taped in the early hours on Thursday morning. Tony Khan was at the scene for the Parking Lot Fight and he was selling his injuries and wearing a neck brace during filming.

The NFL covered The Elite's attack of Khan and AEW talent were immediately wondering if he will continue to wear the neck brace in the coming days for on-camera appearances related to the NFL Draft. In addition to his roles at AEW and Fulham FC, Tony Khan is the Chief Football Strategy Officer for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
