Top Flight's Darius Martin Sidelined With Leg Injury

He's expected to miss significant time

AEW performer Darius Martin is expected to be out of action for a "lengthy period" after sustaining an injury, according to a report from Fightful.

Martin sustained a leg injury sometime recently, and has been replaced on this weekend's Warrior Wrestling show. Few other details are known, except that he's likely to be out for some time.

Martin had recently returned to the ring after a long injury absence. The older brother of Top Flight partner Dante Martin suffered a torn ACL in early 2021 and missed just over a year of action. He returned on the March 2 episode of Dynamite, teaming with Dante in a Casino Tag Team battle royale. Darius was the last man to be eliminated.

Darius last wrestled on April 15 at a Dark taping. He teamed with The Hardy Boyz and Frankie Kazarian in a win over Max Caster, Private Party, Angelico, and The Blade.

Dante appeared without his brother on Wednesday's Dynamite, teaming with Brock Anderson and Lee Johnson in a loss to Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Wheeler Yuta of The Blackpool Combat Club.
