World Of Darkness Match Set For WWE NXT UK

A unique match is set to headline the Thursday, May 5 edition of NXT UK.

It was announced on Thursday's show that Meiko Satomura will defend her NXT UK Women's Championship in two weeks against Isla Dawn in a World Of Darkness Match. 

What exactly a World Of Darkness Match is isn't clear but the contest was taped on April 20 at BT Sport Studios in London, England, which suggests it won't be a cinematic encounter. 

Satomura previously defeated Dawn on the March 24 edition of NXT UK but the defeated challenger stole the NXT UK Women's Title after the match. 

The Final Boss only got the title belt back last week after she agreed to a rematch with Dawn and the 28-year-old spit black mist into the champion's face after the title match was booked. 

Satomura has been NXT UK Women's Champion since June of 2021. 

Ilja Dragunov will also defend his NXT UK Title against Jordan Devlin on May 12, which will be the 200th episode from WWE's UK brand.
