WWE held one of the most-attended Royal Rumble pay-per-views in company history on Saturday, February 1 as the road to WrestleMania kicked off inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

WWE merchandise sold "very well", according to Fightful Select. The top seller for merch over Royal Rumble weekend was ultimately WWE themselves as fans bought generic WWE merchandise and Royal Rumble-branded items, including Royal Rumble t-shirts and title belts.

Amongst wrestlers, John Cena was the top-selling talent, beating out Cody Rhodes who has been WWE's top merch mover for much of the past two years. Jey Uso was number four on the list of top merch sellers over Royal Rumble weekend and Fightful noted his online merchandise sales "went through the roof" following Uso's Men's Royal Rumble win.

While not confirmed, it is believed that Roman Reigns completed the top five, while Alexa Bliss' merchandise sold well following her return in the Women's Royal Rumble.

The top four merch sellers over Royal Rumble weekend were as follows:

  1. WWE
  2. John Cena
  3. Cody Rhodes
  4. Jey Uso

It has also been reported that a significant amount of Nikki Bella merchandise was sold following her return at number 30 in the Women's Rumble.
