Top WWE Star Says All Talent Had To Obey Vince McMahon's Abuse To Keep Their Jobs

WWE stars had to obey Vince McMahon’s abuse out of job security fears

A top WWE star has claimed that all WWE talent had to obey Vince McMahon’s abuse out of fears that they would lose their employment.

McMahon was recently ousted from WWE parent company TKO after a lawsuit alleging sexual abuse and trafficking committed by McMahon was made public. Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer states that an unnamed top star in WWE noted how reading the lawsuit documents was an emotionally scarring experience, saying that: “Vince made so many of us feel small and awful. We all had to obey his abuse in order to keep our jobs.”

The unnamed star noted how everyone who worked in WWE was striving for McMahon’s ‘love and approval’ but ultimately they were working for someone who ‘in the end didn’t care about their talents’.

The news has shaken WWE and TKO to the core, with McMahon’s alleged actions evoking disgust throughout the industry, with McMahon subsequently ‘erased’ from WWE.

Meltzer’s report also suggests that there has been a lot of trauma amongst the women of WWE after the outing of McMahon’s alleged behaviour, with the fear being that this story and situation will get ‘crazier’ if more victims are to come forward.
