Bruce Prichard Undergoes Triceps Surgery

Bruce Prichard has undergone a procedure on his triceps

WWE Executive Bruce Prichard has undergone surgery on a torn triceps, with the long-time backstage figure having been treated for the injury in Connecticut.

The news was revealed by Prichard’s Something To Wrestle podcast partner Conrad Thompson, with some fans drawing light-hearted parallels between Prichard and CM Punk, with Punk having torn his triceps during the 2024 Royal Rumble on January 27, meaning he’ll miss WrestleMania XL.

Prichard is a long-time ally of Vince McMahon, and in the wake of McMahon’s ousting from TKO/WWE in the wake of sexual assault and trafficking allegations, Prichard’s role in WWE has come under scrutiny, with former WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey calling Prichard McMahon’s ‘avatar’ in the company, and saying the spectre of McMahon will remain if Prichard stays in the company. Rousey also stated that McMahon still ran WWE through Prichard during McMahon’s initial exit from the company in 2022.

TKO head and Endeavor owner Ari Emanuel recently stated he was willing to remove ‘anyone and everyone still remaining’ in WWE that could further harm the company’s business, with McMahon’s allies said to be in the frame to be ‘swept out’ of the company if necessary.
