Torrie Wilson Recalls X-Rated WWE Pitch She Turned Down

WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson was involved in many risque storylines, angles and matches during her career, but there were some things she wouldn't do on camera. 

Speaking during an interview with Generation Iron and Fitness, Wilson noted that she turned down one particular pitch from WWE, saying: 

"They wanted me, like what Sable did, paint my boobs and walk out there naked. And I said no. There are certain things that I turned down that I could've gotten ahead with. But it just didn’t feel right".

Sable famously exposed her painted breasts during a bikini contest with Jacqueline at the Fully Loaded 1998 pay-per-view. 

Torrie, like Sable, posed nude for Playboy twice, the second of which was a joint cover shoot with Sable. 

Wilson joined WWE following the company's purchase of WCW in 2001. She was released in May of 2008, though she hadn't appeared on WWE television for several months due to a back injury. 

Torrie subsequently retired, but has made intermittent appearances since, including in two women's Royal Rumble matches and in a battle royal at the all-female Evolution pay-per-view. 

She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
