Trey Miguel is currently scheduled to go into TNA Slammiversary on July 20 in Elmont, New York, but he won’t be in action post-Slammiversary, with him scheduled to undergo surgery, as revealed by the man himself on social media.

“After Slammiversary I will undergo hernia surgery. I was given a choice and I chose to be there. I will give it my absolute best because that’s what @ThisIsTNA deserves and you the fans. A full recovery is expected as this is a minor surgery. Thank you all for the well wishes and messages. Apologies to anyone I missed and didn’t get to reply to.”

TNA had revealed earlier this month that Miguel was to be sidelined with a hernia injury, though he is still presently on the line-up to team alongside Rascalz teammate Zachary Wentz to take part in a fatal four way ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team Championships, taking on The Hardys, The Nemeths and First Class at Slammiverary in a couple weeks.

Several changes have been made to the Slammiversary card in recent weeks, such as the announcement of a title for title match between NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts World Champion.
