Trinity (FKA Naomi) Makes Debut At Impact Tapings, First Match Announced

Trinity has made her Impact Wrestling debut

After a year of her future being uncertain after walking out of WWE alongside her friend and former tag team partner Sasha Banks (now Mercedes Mone), the former ‘Naomi’ has finally made her next move in the professional wrestling world.

Now known as Trinity, she made her debut at the Impact Wrestling tapings on April 28, with her promo segment set to be aired on the upcoming May 4 episode on Thursday, as announced by Impact Wrestling on social media. This wasn’t the only big news though, as Impact revealed that her first match would be against one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions KiLynn King on Saturday’s tapings, which is expected to then air the week after next.

Trinity is a former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, and this will mark the first time she has ever competed outside of a WWE ring, as she began her professional wrestling journey all the way back in 2009 in WWE’s then-developmental, FCW.
