Trinity Opens Up About WWE Departure

Trinity sheds some light on her decision to walk away from WWE

IMPACT Wrestling star Trinity (FKA Naomi) has opened up about her controversial WWE departure.

The 35-year-old (along with Sasha Banks) walked out of the company during the May 16, 2022 Raw taping. After months of speculation, she signed with IMPACT in April.

Speaking to the New York Post, the former two-time SmackDown Woman's Champion called her WWE departure a "very unfortunate situation" and reiterated that her decision to walk out was due to how she was treated on that day.

"There was a lot that happened. There was a lot that was said that ultimately led to me being put in a position and feeling like that was the best for me and what I needed to do. I still believe that. I still stand on that and that's just what it is", Trinity added.

Trinity's husband Jimmy Uso recently revealed that his wife is open to returning to WWE when the timing is right.

Trinity will challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary on Saturday, July 15.
