Trinity Reveals Jade Cargill Was First To Reach Out After WWE Exit

Trinity has been in the headlines over the last couple of weeks after making her IMPACT Wrestling debut, returning to the ring for the first time since 2022 when she walked out of WWE alongside Mercedes Moné amidst creative issues regarding the Women’s Tag Team Championships. 

Trinity has opened up about leaving WWE in an interview with Forbes, and noted that AEW’s TBS Champion Jade Cargill was the very first person to reach out following her exit. 

"When everything happened, Jade was the first person to just reach out to me. I don't remember specifically, but the gist of it was 'I know it feels like your whole world is crumbling apart right now, but you're gonna be okay and I'm here for you.' And that's really what just really touched me, and that that meant everything to me. That someone I don't even share a locker room with thought enough for me to just reach out and say that. So that kind of developed our relationship and friendship. And I have family in Atlanta. She's up in Atlanta, so that's kind of how all that began."

Trinity defeated Kilynn King at IMPACT Wrestling’s Spring Slugfest in her debut match in the company and her very first match outside the confines of WWE.
