Triple H Confirms NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay For Night Before WrestleMania 36
WrestleMania weekend takes shape...
WWE has the WrestleMania 36 blitz going a little earlier this year.
After The New World Order and Batista were confirmed as members of the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class, Triple H officially announced NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay for the weekend.
The event takes place at Tampa's Amalie Arena on Saturay, April 4, 2020, one night before WrestleMania 36.
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, December 13.
The weekend schedule includes four different events at Tampa's Amalie Arena (Hall of Fame ceremony on Thursday night, SmackDown on Friday night, TakeOver on Saturday, and Raw on Monday), to go along with WrestleMania 36 at Raymond James Stadium that Sunday.
This will be the second Florida-based TakeOver to not emanate from Full Sail University, following an Orlando event the weekend of WrestleMania 33 in 2017.
NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay will be the second TakeOver of the 2020 calendar year. A standalone TakeOver in Portland, OR is secheduled for Sunday, February 16.
There is also another TakeOver scheduled for Boston on August 22, the night before next year's SummerSlam.
