Triple H Denies Rumors Of Enzo Amore And Big Cass Returning To WWE

"The Game" speaks...

The names of Enzo Amore and Big Cass recently came up in stories claiming that WWE was interested in bringing the eclectic duo back, perhaps to bolster NXT's roster for the move to a two-hour time slot on USA Network beginning next month. WWE denied the rumors shortly after the news broke.

Triple H spoke with talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy ahead of NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff, and reinforced that denial.

Triple H said he immediately had WWE's PR staff shoot the story down, adding, "Zero interest."

After affirming the sheer number of talents at their disposal for use on a two-hour NXT broadcast, without the need to rehire ex-talents, WWE's COO added, "Congratulations to Enzo, I’m sure spreading rumors is working well for him, but I want no part of it.”

Amore recently wrestled his first match since his January 2018 WWE release, facing Brian Pillman, Jr on August 16 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Big Cass, meanwhile, has remained semi-active since his release from WWE last summer, and wrestled on that same card as Amore.
