Triple H 'Has Another Plan Right Now' For Roman Reigns' WWE Royal Rumble Match

Don't expect to see LA Knight get another shot at The Tribal Chief.

With current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns set to miss this weekend's Survivor Series premium live event, his next major title defence will most likely come at Royal Rumble.

The Tribal Chief last defended his title against LA Knight at Crown Jewel on November 4.

According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque is not looking to book the rematch for when the company visits Tropicana Field on January 27.

Dave Meltzer added that, while there are some backstage who feel like Knight should be given the spot, Levesque has another idea in mind as of now.

At this stage it is unclear exactly who Roman's next challenger will be.

As well as Survivor Series, it doesn't look like Reigns will be competing at Bash in Berlin on August 31 of next year.

The 38-year-old has only had 11 matches during the whole of 2023, owing to the part-time schedule he has enjoyed since signing a new deal with the company in April 2022.
