Triple H Says Jacob Fatu Is "A Little Banged Up" After SummerSlam

Triple H confirmed Jacob Fatu's apparent leg injury

During last night’s SummerSlam 2024 main event, Jacob Fatu interfered to dish out an attack on Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. He placed Rhodes upon the announce table and headed up to the top rope to hit his already signature splash. When coming down, Fatu appeared to land awkwardly on his leg or knee, clutching it immediately afterwards.

Fatu looked in some distress, though it wasn’t clear if he was simply selling a leg injury to write him out of the remaining portion of the bout or if he was genuinely injured. Those in the arena noted that Fatu was helped out by officials after the match, though again the legitimacy is up in the air.

At the post-show press conference, Triple H addressed the situation, explaining that Fatu was a “little banged up”.

"I have to mention Jacob Fatu because he's like a force of nature, and it's amazing to see him. Unfortunately, he got a little banged up in that last match… I'll see where that nets out here in a little bit. Hopefully, nothing serious. It was bugging him a little bit, the leg so, we will see where he is.”
