Triple H Says Ronda Rousey Will Return To WWE

"Rowdy Ronda" figures into future plans...

After Friday's WWE Crown Jewel press event in Las Vegas, WWE COO Triple H spoke with members of the media, where the topic of former Raw Women's champion Ronda Rousey came up.

"She's coming back", Triple H said in regards to Rousey.

Although Triple H gave no timetable for Rousey's return to the company, Ryan McKinnell of Busted Open Radio, on hand for the presser, reports that Triple H believes it would be "sooner rather than later."

After dropping her Raw Women's title in the main event of WrestleMania 35 to Becky Lynch, Rousey has been completely absent from the ring.

Since WrestleMania, Rousey has joined the cast of WWE Total Divas, and also took on a recurring role on the FOX drama series 9-1-1.

After debuting full-time with WWE at the 2018 Royal Rumble as a show-ending surprise, Rousey made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, where she and Kurt Angle defeated Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Rousey's performance in her debut match was highly acclaimed.

She went on to win the Raw Women's championship from Alexa Bliss at the 2018 SummerSlam, and reigned for 232 days.
