WWE Draft

Raw and SmackDown have begun to form their regular rosters going forward, after 20 selections were made on the Draft edition of SmackDown on FOX.

Seth Rollins defeated Roman Reigns via DQ in the match to determine which brand received the first pick, after The Fiend burst through the canvas and attacked him.

The 20 selections amounted to 12 for Raw and eight for SmackDown, due to Raw's three hour runtime against SmackDown's two hours.

Picks for the shows are as follows (number denotes draft order)

RAW

*Becky Lynch (1)

*The OC (3)

*Drew McIntyre (5)

*Randy Orton (6)

*Ricochet (8)

*Bobby Lashley (10)

*Alexa Bliss (11)

*Kevin Owens (13)

*Natalya (15)

*The Viking Raiders (16)

*Nikki Cross (18)

*The Street Profits (20)

SMACKDOWN

*Roman Reigns (2)

*Bray Wyatt (4)

*Sasha Banks (7)

*Braun Strowman (9)

*Lacey Evans (12)

*The Revival (14)

*Lucha House Party (17)

*Heavy Machinery (19)

Undrafted wrestlers that were eligible in SmackDown's draft pool include Cesaro, Humberto Carrillo, Akira Tozawa, Sin Cara, Eric Young, EC3, Chad Gable, Heath Slater, Drew Gulak, The B-Team, and Tamina.

In a somewhat humorous note, the Draft Pool listing on WWE.com accidentally listed the apparent intended draft order, as the first 12 picks all went according to the seemingly-random list of wrestlers. As many on Twitter began to notice this coincidence after the first ten picks, WWE began to modify the order going forward, albeit only slightly. Kevin Owens, for example, went about six or seven picks earlier than intended, but still to Raw where he appeared set to end up.
