Triple H Still In Contact With Released WWE Talent
Triple H still speaks with this former WWE talent
Triple H is still in regular contact with a former WWE talent.
Speaking with Haus of Wrestling, Eric Young revealed he spoke to Triple H only a couple of days ago.
"I still have a very good relationship with Hunter; I was just talking to him a couple of days ago. I loved it. The truth is, I never wanted to leave NXT. I knew that the main roster was the destination, and that's where you made money, and that was kind of the end goal for most people. But the truth was deep in my heart I never wanted to leave in the first place. So yeah, I absolutely loved NXT. The main roster was not the same experience. It was a very poor experience, probably my least favourite out of my 30-plus years in wrestling," Young said.
Triple H was the head booker of NXT during Young's run on the developmental brand as part of SAnitY. The former IMPACT World Champion made a return to WWE in late 2022 to work with Triple H but WWE agreed to release him before Young resurfaced on TV. The former leader of Violent By Design asked for his release as he did not wish to work for Vince McMahon, who had returned to creative in April 2023.
Young has since returned to IMPACT Wrestling and he noted he is committed to the promotion, although he said "never say never" about a second return to WWE.
