Trish Stratus Set For First Singles Match On Raw For 12 Years

Trish Stratus in singles action on Raw for first time in over a decade

For the first time in 12 years, Trish Stratus will be competing in a singles match on an episode of Monday Night Raw. The WWE Hall of Famer’s 2023 comeback run will see her do battle with Raquel Rodriguez in a qualifying match for the last spot in the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

It was announced over the weekend that the pair would be facing off on Raw, along with the announcement of other matches too. Matches between the WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley & Natalya, and Matt Riddle & Ludwig Kaiser have also been announced for the line-up. These matches join a card which will see Seth Rollins put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in an open challenge, and Shinsuke Nakamura go one-on-one with Bronson Reed.

Stratus’ last singles match on Raw came all the way back in 2011 when she battled Vickie Guerrero in the lead-up to WrestleMania 27, where she competed alongside John Morrison & Snooki against Guerrero’s friends Lay-Cool and Dolph Ziggler.
