Trish Stratus To Host WWE Live Event in Toronto

Stratus returns to the WWE Universe

Trish Stratus has revealed she will be the special guest host for the WWE Live Event in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, later this month.

Stratus has confirmed, via her own website, that she will be in attendance for the WWE show at the Coca-Cola Coliseum on Wednesday 29 December and serving as the host for the event.

Stratus said: "Excited to step through that curtain and feel the energy of the WWE Universe one more time. Let's do this Toronto!"

Stratus was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2013 and last competed in a WWE ring at SummerSlam 2019, where she faced and lost to Charlotte Flair. She officially retired back in September 2006 but has since made a handful of appearances for WWE, notably teaming with John Cena on Raw in 2008 and wrestling at WWE Evolution in 2018.

WWE named Stratus as their greatest female wrestler of all time earlier this year, marking a career that saw her win seven Women's Championships and the Hardcore Title on one occasion.
