Two Championship Matches Set For 12/3 AEW Rampage

Including a stipulation for one match

Two championship bouts have been announced for next Friday night's AEW Rampage, one of which stems from a challenge, and subsequent attack, during the Black Friday night broadcast.

TNT champion Sammy Guevara was challenged during Friday night's Rampage by recent AEW signee Tony Nese. The former WWE Cruiserweight champion issued the challenge in a backstage interview. Then, right after the champion accepted the challenge face to face, Nese struck an unsuspecting Guevara, taking him down to the floor.

In addition, the Tag Team titles will be on the line, as The Lucha Bros defend against FTR in a two out of three falls match. The champions retained their titles over FTR at Full Gear on November 13.

The match will air one day before the teams face off at AAA Triplemania Regia 2021 in Monterrey, for the AAA Tag Team titles held by FTR (who defeated the Lucha Bros in October for the belts).

The card for next Friday's AEW Rampage, to be taped Wednesday night at Gas South Arena in Duluth, GA, is as follows:

* AEW TNT: Sammy Guevara (c) vs. Tony Nese

* AEW World Tag Team/Two out of Three Falls: The Lucha Bros (c) vs. FTR
