Two More Title Matches Announced For AEW Battle Of The Belts
AEW have announced more title bouts for Battle of the Belts VII
AEW’s seventh Battle of the Belts show airs tonight live following an episode of Collision, making it three straight hours of AEW content. Prior to yesterday, just one title match had been announced for the show, with Luchasaurus going one-on-one with Shawn Spears with the TNT Championship on the line. On last night’s Rampage, AEW finally announced two more title matches for the event - better late than never!
AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm will put her title on the line against Taya Valkyrie in a first time ever match after the pair had a confrontation on Rampage following Valkyrie’s quick squash win.
In another first time matchup, Orange Cassidy will put his AEW International Championship on the line against the newly-returned Lance Archer. Following Archer’s win over Trent Beretta on Rampage, the Murderhawk Monster called out Cassidy and proceeded to steal the title belt after a brawl, setting up their match for Battle of the Belts in which Cassidy will attempt to not only win, but take back his title belt too.
