Two Tag Matches, Universal Title Replay Set For Next Friday's WWE SmackDown

Building to Extreme Rules in two weeks...

Next Friday's edition of WWE SmackDown will be heavy on tag team action, with a championship bout among the planned card.

On the broadcast, Kofi Kingston and Big E of The New Day will defend their SmackDown Tag Team titles against Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. To set up the match, Nakamura defeated Kingston in a singles match on Friday night's episode of SmackDown.

Also in tag team action, Women's Tag Team champs Bayley and Sasha Banks will wrestle Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a non-title bout. Bayley defeated Bliss via disqualification on Friday, following interference from Cross.

Bayley defends her SmackDown Women's title against Cross at Extreme Rules on July 19.

Next Friday's SmackDown will also feature a replay of the Universal title match from May's Money in the Bank pay-per-view that pitted Braun Strowman against Bray Wyatt. The match was won by Strowman, and featured appearances from various Firefly Fun House characters situated around the ringside area.

The two are scheduled to face off in a non-title "Wyatt Swamp Fight" at Extreme Rules.
